Common Concerns

I help clients resolve or manage troubling symptoms or difficulties, or who are looking to find greater connection, balance, or growth in their lives. I generally work from a strengths-based and process-focused approach that can apply to the unique presenting concerns of most people. My integrative approach draws from a variety of therapeutic models and tailors therapy in ways that clients are most comfortable with and will best meet their needs.  These customized approaches often include targeted therapeutic strategies drawn from cognitive behavioral, dynamic, systemic, or expressive approaches.

I  provide both short and long term therapy depending on what clients want, their presenting concerns, and any other situational constraints. If I am unable to provide the kind of assistance that a client requires, I am happy to point them towards a professional or resources that may be more helpful.

Common concerns I address:
* Depression & Anxiety
* Relationships (individual, couple, and family dynamics)
* Eating & Body Image
* Life Transitions (emerging adult, separation/divorce, parenting)
* Chronic Illness & Pain
* Stress (work/life), Burnout, & Reactivity/Anger
* Personal Growth (self-awareness, existential/identity, life planning)
* Trauma (developmental & major event)
